offices. Oversee existing operations, design-implement
business development initiatives, and deliver presentations
to promote sustainable design concepts. Collaborate within

Key Achievements:
- Contributed
qualifications and writing expertise to boost municipal
services, including urban parks, greenway trail systems,
and county pond dam rehabilitation projects.
- Coordinated with other
group managers to promote Low Impact Development (LID)
sustainable design services, including presentations at
professional conferences such as the American Society of
Landscape Architects (ASLA) and the American Society of
Civil Engineers (ASCE).
- Designed and conducted
endangered species inventory on 22,000 acres of land in
North Carolina coastal plain.
- Oversaw
rare-threatened-endangered species survey on a
4,500-acre mixed use-residential development in
tidewater Virginia.
- Assessed wildlife
habitat impacts and designed mitigation plans for
multiple federal endangered species, enabling approval
of a large-scale beachfront resort complex on land owned
by Eglin Air Force Base on Santa Rosa Island, Florida.
- Conducted natural
resource field surveys and developed plans for
mitigating future impacts, including a variety of
“listed” species, in successfully updating the Natural
Resources Evaluation and Recommendations (NRER) Report
for the 6,000-acre Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR)
DOD installation in southeastern Virginia.
- Developed a template
allowing initiation of consistent, accurate, and
detailed field monitoring of wildlife
habitat/endangered species impacts associated with the
Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) construction of
2,000 miles of security fencing along the United
States-Mexican border in Texas, Arizona, and California.

Wetlands-Stream-Permitting Division (WSPD) in company’s
Raleigh Office. Facilitated development of largest WSPD in
history of firm.

from one to eight professionals in span of approximately
12 months; significantly increased WSPD revenues over
two-year period.
- Proposed, acquired, and
coordinated more than $400,000 of municipal and private
work, including the Umstead Hotel on the SAS Campus
(Cary), Parton Family Entertainment Center (Roanoke

Transportation Center (Chapel Hill), Randleigh Farms

programs / panel discussions on using Low Impact
Development (LID) Site Design Techniques to monthly
meetings of the Professional Engineers of North Carolina
(PENC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE),
the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the 2007
National Water Resources Conference (Savannah, Georgia),
and the First Annual 2007 National LID Conference in
